I grew up in Manassas on a farm that is now Sumner Lakes. I attended schools in Manassas, until high school years, which I attended Notre Dame Academy. I went on to attend Hollins University, where I majored in Clinical Psychology.
I began my first career as an Assistant Property Manager, in Athens Georgia, where my husband attended college. I was employed as a leasing agent and learned that facet of the industry quickly. I then went on to learn more about the real estate process when my husband, Brad and I came back to Virginia, and I was employed at a Title and Settlement Company, during the booming times of Northern Virginia. At that time, it was not uncommon to wait in lines to record deeds from new home sales. Our once sleepy little town became the suburbs of Washington D.C. and more and more people poured into our area now known as Northern Virginia.
I went on to take a sabbatical from Real Estate and began a 20 year long career in Law Enforcement. That was a gratifying career that taught me much about working with people under stressful situations. A good lead back into the Real Estate world again! I have now been with Crossroads, Realtors since 2013. I have been successfully working with people in this field since I launched my new career as a Real Estate Agent. I have personally owned and sold many properties and love helping clients find their first home or list a home and find a new buyer. I continue to educate myself in this thrilling and ever changing industry. I have personally worked in every faze of this industry. That is why I am diligent, competent agent. I am honest and trustworthy and my goal is to form a professional relationship with my clients to guide them through the sales, purchase or leasing transaction with ease and also excitement!
